sessiod id - what is the maximum limit

As our production server hasn't been bounced for months now, I am seeing a gradual increase in the number of sessionsid. It had already reached 8 digits. I am beginning to wonder where it will eventually run out of sessid. Assuming that it is an integer, that max it can take is 10 digits. After that???. Does the sessid keep monotonically increasing or does it get recycled. The problem with our application is that we have momentary connections all day along. ESQL/C applications start and end their job within minutes. That keeps sessid increasing all the time. TIA. rk-

(up for 42 days) So you have an engine up for several months? Nice news, specially from someone always complaining about "bugs" ;) Regards.
