Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
We are finally upgrading from 9.21 (ugh) to 10. I am starting to plan
the upgrade now. What pitfalls should I watch out for? What new
settings and features should I investigate. We run Alphas on tru64, if
it makes any difference (which it probably does).
What about the new VPCLASS onconfig parameters? How do you use these to
get the most out of a system?
I had a lot of problems with statement caching in 9.21 so I finally
turned it off. Is statement caching fixed and more reliable in 10. I
was assert failing on 9.21.
Thanks for any help.
