Re: creating stored procedures using ISQL

Hey Guys,
If you are interested in doing alot with
stored procedures I really recommend using
Informix Relational Object Manager.
It is used in an NT/Win 95 environment and
will use ODBC to connect to the database.
It is a graphical Database Manager Environment,
you can work in an SQL window which will edit
check your SQL for Stored Procedure syntax.
It was available to download for free at
www.informix.com. I think it is really nice
and although it is brand new (hopefully they will
add capability) it works well for me!!
I am using S-DESIGNOR and can quickly create schemas,
indexes, stored procedures, triggers and pound'em into
the database.
Hey, this company makes good stuff!!! :)

ps... a good book for store procedures is INFORMIX STORED PROCEDURE
PROGRAMMING by Michael Gonzales - Informix Press. Small but good.
