Re: Informix for Dummies?

Whatever database and web server you select for your purposes you have three options: 1. Study databases and web servers from the ground up. Requires 1 to 5 years depending on prior experience. 2. Use a consultant. 3. Buy a ready made setup including installation and support for whatever purpose you have in mind. I would allways go for number 3 id possible even if the solution might not seem 100% ideal immediately. Alternatively number 2 might be ok. dougr@headspace.com (Doug Roberts) wrote: :Hi All - : :Is there an "Informix for Dummies" area somewhere?
