How about an ESQL-C solution? Download my latest submission to the
IIUG Software repository (utils2_ak) it includes docopy.ec a very fast
table copy program.
BW Have you tried:
INSERT INTO localtable SELECT FROM remotedb:remotetable;
As long as the two databases have compatible logging modes this will
work. Docopy is as fast and if the databases have incompatible logging
modes something like it is the only solution.
