Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
128 is the number of threads, which doesn't really mean 128 active users
because we get error messages long before we reach that number on our systems.
You need to change the NETTYPE variable as follows:
NETTYPE ipcshm,1,100,CPU
100 is the number of users. You can change ipcshm to whatever connection type
you are using (that is the default). If you have more that two CPUs you may
want to change the 1 to (number of CPUs - 1).

Subject: How to increase userthread in Informix 7.11
We would like to know how to increase the number of userthreads in
Informix 7.11UC2 ?
From the last line of "onstat -u " command show as followings:
" active user xx , 128 total , max concurrent user xxx"
Does this "128 total" is the number of user licence ?
can we increase the user threads more than 128 without user licence
upgrade ?
Best Regards.
