Does this mean that you recreated your indexes *after* running Update
Stats??
If so, try running update stats again, *with* the indexes there.

Hm, not exactly! I did execute update statistics and tried to run some
heavy tests, there was no effects. After that I tried to recreate indexes
on one table and reexecute these test, there was slight difference - approx.
10min from 1.5hours, but this lasts only a few days. After a few days,
execution was slower than before index recreation. I didn't update
stats after this, but I personally thinks this won't bring significant
speed-up.
Everybody, tnx for these tips. I downloaded Performance Guide.
All I need now is reserve some exclusive time on DB server. Server is ll
the time operational (24/7).
I'll keep you informed.
