Like the 'B' in your first posting the 'Y' here represents a wait, this time on a condition which is another resource wait. Run onstat -g spi, onstat -g wai, and onstat -g con to try to determine what conditionsare causing the bottleneck and tune to alleviate the problem if you can. You may just be trying to support more users than your system can handle but try tuning before opening the checkbook. Art S. Kagel
