If you come across an answer to this problem, I'd love to hear it. I upgraded from 5.00 to 5.03 ten days ago and have been plagued by this same error. I was able to work around it for most statements by changing the prepare - declare - execute sequence, and using the EXECUTE IMMEDIATE statement instead. But I'd still like to know what's going on! I recompiled } all my 'C' code now I'm getting a database error -410. } } The PREPARE statement is okay } e.g. } $prepare xxx for "update tab1 set tab_name = ? where tab_key = ?"; } } The DECLARE statement worked } e.g. } $declare xxx_cur for xxx; } } The EXECUTE statement gave me the -410 } e.g. } $execute cursor xxx_cur using :tab_name, :tab_key; } } I'm doing this all from memory so I may not have it exact. } This code worked on 5.0.1 and now (5.0.5) it doesn't. } } Does anyone have a clue???? }
