onunload/onload - multiple dbspaces

I need to onunload a database that uses 3 dbspaces, and then onload on another instance that has identically named and configured dbspaces. I'd swear I once could do this but now can't figure out how.... Anybody know if it's possible to to this and preserve the same dbspace layout? It sure doesn't look like it in the documentation.
