Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
We have an IDS database that is front-ending a poorly written Java
application that is used over the web. I suspect that many users are
not terminating sessions and whilst this is not a definite problem for
IDS there is a suspicion that these dormant sessions may be
interfering with the otherwise smooth running of the system. My
question is "How can I determine these dormant users?". I think that
I can find the information through onstat -g ntt but is there any way
to get that information through a sysmaster query.
IDS 9.40.UC2 running on SUSE Linux SLES8
