Another trouble - Archive on remote tape

Ok, guys, thanks, thanks, thanks about the ADD CHUNKS HDR. I could make easily. I got new trouble now. I´m trying to execute a remote archive. Two AIX machines with Informix 10. One of this machine, doesn´t have a tape device. So I point TAPEDEV to TAPEDEV hostname:/dev/rmt1 And I got the follow message Please mount tape 1 on erpln:/dev/rmt1 and press Return to continue ... Remote tape report: rshd: 0826-813 Permission is denied. could not write archive tape. I already had edit the hosts.equiv in both machine but it still doesn´t work out. Did I miss anything? Andre, Even if you get this working, the backup speed will be pathetic. Can= you archive straight to disk? I made this feature work back in '92 on Online 5.0. I totally forget= how, except that I must have pulled it directly out of TFM. I would ensur= e that your two instances can talk with one another, that one can rlogin in = to the other. Beyond that I have no clue.
