About TRIM varchars copied by dbcopy util

Hi whe have copied a complete DB with the DBCOPY util, it was fast and easy, the good part, but we have many varchar columns, and those have blanks at the end, filling the varchar column, we did this SQL : Update tabname set colname = trim ( colname ) But we need copy copy our DB many times, there is any better way to do it.
