Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

The smart money seems to be saying Delphi. The local shop was selling off the
competetive upgrade package for '99 so I bought a copy of that to see how I
get on. I'll have to brush up my Pascal. I havn't used it since I moved to
an Onyx box running a database called Marathon in '81 or '2...
To tell the truth the Oracle screen painter runs like an early Mac on my PC
but what do you expect of a 25MHz 486 SX? I don't know what New Era would do
on the same platform bu Delphi's OK.
Informix seems to be fighting back. I heard of a deal for freelancers in the
UK whereby there was an offer of Informix 3 and 4 day courses zipped into 5
days plus a copy of the software and a year's support for the total cost of
the 3 & 4 day courses. Pity I heard about it too late and anyway I havn't
gone freelance yet.
