I'm sorry for this stupid question, but does it exist some 4gl-extension/version or something else that gives an Object-Oriented taste to 4GL programs?

Ignore Obnoxio, he's in a strange mood today. (To Obnoxio, sorry to be a spoil sport.) NewEra was Informix's attempt to objecterize (is that a word?) 4GL. It was a dismal failure. NewEra, as Obnoxio points out, is still available but only the most masochistic of us still use it. Also I doubt that Informix will be supporting NewEra much longer. So the practical answer is no, there is no such thing. Art S. Kagel
