Re: What gives?

Lots of good responses to this query. Many points that I had not originally considered, but then you've all read them by now. What was nice about 'the old days' was that even bad answers had some truth to them, I learned almost as much from hearing wrong answers as I did from writing them. In the anarchy we call the net there's nothing I can do or say to convince others to take the time to go out on a limb - especially when its not their tree, and they know that some percentage of the time they're going to fall off. All I can do is my part which is to answer as much as I can, as frequently as I can.
