IBM Data Server Provider - Db_Locale/Client_Locale

Good morning, I am developing new applications using VB.NET and IBM Data Server Provider v. 10.5 connected to IDS 11.70.FC8GE using DRDA protocol All the databases are localized in en_US.819 Previously, with older informix driver, I used SETNET32 to set DB_LOCALE and CLIENT_LOCALE to en_US.819 and I was enable to insert symbol without problems. Now, with new driver, if I enter symbol I got "Code-set conversion error" According to IBM documentation DB_LOCALE and CLIENT_LOCALE are no more usable with IBM Data Server Provider, but there is no explanation of what to use as an alternative. I tried to set the variable Codepage=819 in the connection string without success. Any idea how to solve this problem? Thank you
Don't know how to fix the IBM Data Provider, however, in the newest CSDK v4.10 the driver for .NET is v4.5 compliant, so you might try going back to setnet32 instead. Art Art S. Unfortunately, I would not like to go back to CSDK since IBM is not supporting it for the future. >>The IBM Informix .NET Provider is also referred to as the CSDK .NET Provider. >>It is available for download as part of the Informix Client SDK. If there is not client-side solution available I will prefer to move database from en_US.819 to en_US.utf8
Ergon: It is not true that IBM is not supporting CSDK into the future. First, I know this, second, if this were true, why spend the $$ and time to upgrade the latest CSDK from .NET 2.0 support up to .NET 4.5 support? Nope, CSDK is here to stay, as is Informix.
