setting INFORMIX SE 7.x to accept ODBC Connections

Hi there, I don't know how setup INFORMIX SE 7.x to accept incoming connections from ODBC clients. On INFORMIX Dynamic Server I don't have problems, but on INFORMIX SE I can't do it. Can you help me? Thank you Michele Dati

Are you running the sqlexecd? This is the network listener and is found in $INFORMIXDIR/lib. Unlike IDS which has network capability linked in SE requires a separate listener program to listen for bind requests, accept them, and start up an sqlexec for the session. Art S. Kagel
