RENAME DATABASE olddbname TO newdbname; It's in the 7.20 manuals, so presumably it was added then. It is flagged OnLine only; with SE you use: mv olddbs.dbs newdbs.dbs Pity they forgot about RENAME INDEX and RENAME CONSTRAINT and ...
