Sucks to be us... Thanks for the reply. At least I know I'm not the only one. :-{ I do have an older version of Informix working pretty well (INFORMIX-SQL Version 2.10.03J). It's just I-SQL and SE. I was hoping to get this v5 stuff working cause I have a copy of R-4GL and the Debugger for it. I was hoping to be able to do some more elaborate development with this since it would not require compiling and linking to Informix's COFF libraries. Just out of curiosity. Any ideas on how to use either ESQL/C or I-4GL with Linux and iBCS? I was thinking it would probably be necessary to bring in a copy of the C compiler, assembler, linker, libraries and headers from off an SCO or Interactive machine to do it. Any ideas on an easier/better way? I know one option would be to have two machines, with one hosting ISC or SCO to do the compiling and then put the binaries on Linux. But I don't have that many machines to devote to my small needs. -- +--------------------+----------------------------+--------------------------+ | Michael Faurot | mfaurot@phzzzt.atww.org | I don't like | | ------- ------ | | lima beans!! | +--------------------+----------------------------+--------------------------+
