re: sql & informix training

>Does anyone know of any good onsite training media. Such as CBT, video, >books, etc. We are looking to train our staff on various aspects of the >database. Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated. Check out the Informix web site at http://www.informix.com for their new CBT training, and for onsite training via the Educational Services organization. See the comp.databases.informix (CDI) archives at the IIUG web pages at http://www.iiug.org , where you'll find many messages archived which contain book recommendations and a wealth of other info. Use the Informix Certified Professional Program to stimulate interest and gauge progress. Talk to your local Informix User Group, who may well be able to provide speakers and non-sales technical experts willing to come to your site and speak. Find out about your local group from the Informix page above. Finally, subscribe your entire staff to CDI, where they'll learn more, with a better class of people, than they will sitting alone in a room with a soporific computer program.
