Unlikely; problems occur in 2038:
$ timestamp 0xFFFFFFFF2147483647 = Mon Jan 18 19:14:07 2038

The only problem with 4.0 Informix with regard to the year 2000
is the documented assumption that if you enter a 2-digit year,
the value required is in the 20th Century (1900..1999, to be more
precise). The code does not default to the current century.
As long as you display 4-digit year values, and get used to
typing them too, then the old code will continue quite happily
until the current time overflows the 32-bit signed time type.
