Hello,everyone, I just upgrade my informix online 5.03 to IDS 7.22.So I recompile my 5.03 applcations under ESQL/C 7.22.I use default options. I run my new application after compile,it occurs the error message: dynamic linker : applicationname : error opening libixasf.so Killed. What should I do then? Thanks! Assuming you are compiling and running on the same machine then set: LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$INFORMIXDIR/lib:$INFORMIXDIR/lib/esqlexport LD_LIBRARY_PATH (Unless you are running on HP where the environment variable is different SHLIBsomething-oe-other.) Otherwise you have to install the ESQL runtime (ie iConnect) on the server. Art S.
