Since the contents of a file could change between the time the report was compiled and the time it was run, this could mess up the spacing, so files are disallowed in headers and trailers. Your try for modularity is certainly good programming practice. Too bad ACE does not allow something like an #include directive. That would give you what you want by restricting the file input specifically to compile time. Regards, Alan ___________________________ ______________________| R.
