Visual Cafe Pro ODBC/JDBC drivers Hello, I am doing some java db application development using Visual Cafe Pro. I need to access our 5.03 and 7.1 informix engines. Since, Visual Cafe Pro only has native support for 7.X, I am trying to go the ODBC route. I install Informix-CLI which contains the ODBC drivers and the connectivity software on my machine. Upon configuring the ODBC source, I can access it through VB 5.0, MS-Query, but cannot access it through Symantec dbanywhere server. Symantec claims that the drivers lack the full functionality that Visual Cafe require and my options are to upgrade 7.x engine or get another driver. So, I would like to know of a driver that can access 5.03 and 7.x engines that work with symantec dbanywhere server. And If I develop my application using ODBC driver, Can I then upgrade my engine in the future to 7.x and use native support without change in my code. please help! Alia
