Using I-Net with I-Star

We need to support development activities (ESQL/C and 4GL) on a client - a Sun workstation with limited disk space. The developers need to test with an OnLine database on a server - a Sun initially, but we would also like to be able to use our Pyramid and HP minicomputers as database servers. Does anyone have experience using I-Net on a client with I-Star on a server? Can we expect to have access to full OnLine functionality with this arrangement?
