Size of SQLExec

After years of using an informix database, I noticed for the first time that the sqlexec's use of memory (virtual memory) keeps growing with every select until you quit the program. In other words, it is theoretically possible to use all the resources of the machine if you keep making queries for a long time without closing the application.
