IDS 7.23 and SCO OS 5.0.4

Anyone had problems using IDS 7.23 on SCO OPenserver 5.0.4? I have had a live system up for months now and when I hit the 108 concurrent connections mark it chucks everyone out and needs rebooting. The error is related to shared memory I think as sometimes the databases go off-line with similar symptoms. Informix support is blaming the OS, I remain unconvinced.
