Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Informix community,
We want to use triggers to implement audit trails of database changes.
Our problem is that some applications run as a database "superuser"
instead of the actual user, therefore the USER variable available within
the trigger grammar contains the db superuser name instead of the name of
the real user. As anyone come up with a way to insert into an audit table
the value of a shell environment variable?
Thanks,
Ken Evilsizor
