Unable to create Stored Procedure
Posted in 1999
I am having problems attempting to create a Stored Procedure using dbaccess.
When running the SQL I am getting a Syntax Error highlighting the word
"procedure" as follows :-
create procedure pr_ins_begrn(grn char(10),lui char(10))
^ (SYNTAX ERROR SHOWN HERE)define P_insppc float;
define P_insppc2 float;
select pulin_insppc into P_insppc
from pulin, pugrn
where pugrn_grn = grn
and pugrn_orderno = pulin_orderno
and pugrn_ordline = pulin_ordline;
(SNIPPED)
I am the owner of the database in question and I have DBA privileges. Can
anyone out there shed some light ??
TIA
