Definately Mirror rootdbs, and the logs. I was saying that it would be better to let Informix mirror the space rather than the operating system. My only point is that I have yet to see either Informix or HP recover from a disk crash on a mirrored LVM or partition. (Knock on wood.) Based on MTBF, I hope to have at least 2 years to go. (MTBF is >= 5 years, but with the number of disks, I should expect on having a failure before then.) -Mikey. -Mikey
