Creating infos file ""...FAILED Happened on my sandbox, I'd been ignoring it because IDS started and worked just fine - just that onstat/onmode commands didn't work. Finally decided to fix it, googled all over the place - there's this one guy with my name who suggests exporting INFORMIXDIR before running oninit - but of course that can't be the problem. But you eliminate all the things it can't be and you are left with the only thing it could possibly be - let's just try exporting that before doing the oninit. Whaddya know: Creating infos file "/opt/informix/etc/.infos.mordor"...succeeded What an idiot.
