OnBar and IBM ADSM

Background: I am trying to OnBar to work with an existing IBM ADSM storage system. We share an RS6000/AIX machine with ORACLE databases, and they use SQLBackTracker to backup to ADSM. Our version of IDS is 7.3 UC7. Question: OnBar apparently needs access to an XSDB shared library (BAR_BSALIB_PATH=<lib path>). The documentation indicates that the typical pathname of this library is /usr/lib/libsad001.so. We can't find this shared library anywhere. Does anyone where to get it????????
Vic, the /usr/lib/..... is the name that OnBar is looking for. What you do is create a symbolic link from the IBM ADSM module to /usr/lib/..... These instructions should be covered in the Readme files distributed with your client, but the file you are looking for is going to be a *.so file probably in your /usr/adsm/api or /usr/adsm/api/xopen directories (assuming you installed adsm to /usr/adsm) Hope this helps, Doug Agnew DBA, Charlotte Pipe & Foundry dagnew@charlottepipe.com (All necessary disclaimers included by implication....
