Informix backup to cloud - vendors ???

Hi friends. A recent doubt: Even in 11.70 releases, we can configure TAPEDEV to a cloud storage provider. My doubt is that the only mentioned is Amazon S3. Documentation specifies nothing about "cloud provider". Is it the only one available? Could I use IBM cloud, or any other that provides an external storage? Thanks for this. Best regards. Hi Alexandre, AFAIK, ontape, or ifxbkpcloud.jar rather, (still) only supports Amazon. Yet there's relieve for you should you be able to go to 12.10.xC10: http://www.informixcommunity.com/blogs/archives/11-2017 PSM now supporting Amazon as well as IBM Softlayer, so you could combine onbar/PSM's ease of use to replace ontape. Thanks, my friend. I thought that any object storage provider could be used through ontape, since it's just an "external filesystem provider". Unfortunately, 12.10.xC10 is a brand new release, we don't even have plans for going to 12.10 version yet. But thanks a lot for the info, anyway, Andreas. Regards.
