Try NOT using the SCREEN RECORD for your NON_INPUT_ARRAY fields and note the difference. I've since modified my programming to avoid using screen records except where unavoidable with INPUT/DISPLAY ARRAYs after a very lengthy debug process and discovered this. 4GL is flexible enough in most cases where you won't need 'em anyway. ( I know I'll take some flak for that. :-) Tim
