How to tie Crystal Reports with Informix new era (v 2.12)

Dear Friends, I've managed to connect crystal reports(Version 6.0) with informix database.But i'm now trying to figure out how to tie the crystal reports with the front end application which is Informix newera(Version 2.12). Do i need to include any header files for this? Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
