How's that for flimsy marketing > opinions? Well, TPC-C marks alone are obviously, ( as you probably would agree ) not the only criteria for buying a data base. However, as you say, buy what's best. SQLServer by any comparison is not the best for a serious shop wanting a real data base. But hey, good marketing can sell anything, even lousy hamburgers. :-) Speaking of SGI, aren't they coming out with an NT box now?
