Here is the system configuration: SCO OpenServer 5 Enterprise with Release Supplement 5.0.0d Informix 4GL 4.13.UD3 Informix SQL 4.13.UD1 Informix I-Net 4.12.UC1 Informix SE 5.03.UC1 We recently installed I-NET on the above system(s). While it works very well, we are getting the following messages in the sqlexecd log file: 25528 The sqlexecd daemon cannot accept a connection.: An event requires attention My first question is: what does this error mean? The application running will hang once this message appears, but others running the same application will continue working fine. If the hung app is killed via Ctrl-\\, they can login again and work fine. I suspect that it is a SCO TCP/IP problem, but I'm not positive. Also, (I normally don't mix topics, but it is related) what do the various command-line arguments mean to sqlexecd? I only stumbled on the -l option by accident in the installation guide. Curiosity drove me to discover that any command-line argument other than l,t,u,v,w,x,y,z will give an error and not start. But what do those letters mean? I've RTFM and RTFFAQ to no avail.
