We also wrote a Online error log grepper, that is fired off by cron each night, and mails all exceptions to a "informix-guru" alias list. In addition, we had cron jobs that update statistics, and run tbcheck -pT's to check extents, and sends back a report on those that are over X number of extents. We are setting up to automate everything possible, since we expect to be responsible for a boatload of systems running informix in the near future. I would be interested in any tools, or ideas for tools that anyone can dream up. -- Naomi Walker (aka N7FSA) naomi@anasazi.com Phoenix, Arizona To get the full value of joy, you must have someone to divide it with. ---Mark Twain
