Couldn't you do somthing like the following in a script?
------------------------------------------------------------
dbaccess database_name << EOF
unload into temptable
select * from table_name;EOF
compress temptable
dbaccess database_name << EOF
unload into temptable2
select * from table2_name;EOF
compress temptable2
... etc ...
