The following happened on my level-0 archive this morning:
----------------------------------------------------
12:30:59 Assert Failed: Temporary Partition used in archive has beencorrupted
12:31:00 Who: Session(50989, informix@ndrmain, 5180, -607803396)
Thread(248122, arcbackup, dbc433e8, 3)
12:31:00 Results: Archive cannot be completed
12:31:00 Action: Archive backup must be re-done
12:31:00 See Also: /tmp/af.c93a3cc3, shmem.c93a3cc3.0
12:31:33 Error writing '/tmp/shmem.c93a3cc3.0' errno = 28
12:31:34 Archive on rootdbs, logsdbs, ndrdwdbs, ndrdbdbs, ndrmfdbs, iversondbs ABORTED.
12:31:34 ISAM error: file is not open.
-----------------------------------------------------Usually a level-0 archive is not a problem. Any idea whats up with
this?
The database seems A-OK right now. Am I heading for trouble?
TIA
Allen
Sounds like one or more of your tempdbspaces us damaged. At the very
least I'd drop the dbspace and re-add it (ignore the dire warnings about
not doing that without an archive, you are going to do one anyway and you
are putting the dbspace back also) perhaps using a different disk or after
thoroughly testing the drive at least with dd.
