I was told by a man-from-Informix that dealing with 2digit year
specification is under application care. The OnLine stores date value as
integer.
So if you write "97" into formfield, application has to convert it into
integer (number of days since from 31.12.1899, I suppose) and sends this
in query. I also suppose there exists a standart routine for the
calculation (string[date] -> integer).
I know this is not answer on every date question, but I understood it
so: if application handles correctly with date, OnLine will have no
problems.
PS: all OnLine (v5xx) utils (tbtape, dbload ..) will work fine after
2000 (I was told)
PS2: DBCENTURY variable is 4gl&comps' variable, not OnLine's.
(this is how I understand it)
