RE: starting up ISM

I have TSM running on the same server that I am in the process of testing using ISM. Don't know if the below comments will help with your problem but have you performed the following: The below parameter change is critical, this parameter informs user Informix to use the Informix Storage Manager verses TSM: Comment out the Path pointing to the TSM API and add the second line. #BAR_BSALIB_PATH /sikorsky/pgmC/aix/tsmcl/vers31.42/api/bin/bsashr10.o BAR_BSALIB_PATH /sikorsky/pgmR/aix/informix/vers73/lib/libbsa.o (This is the path that Informix Storage Manager executables that are shipped with the engine reside. If you want to setup ISM, you need to de-install the other storage manager and then run '$INFORMIXDIR/bin/ism_startup -init'. I thought Legato was the only storage manager that conflicted. Id like to not have to remove TSM as Im only testing ISM... Thanks Ted Fiedler sending to informix-list
