The basic answer to your question is 'CREATE DATABASE dbname', but how you get that executed depends on what software, if any, you currently have. Please look at the http://www.informix.com web page for some information about the available products (7 different database servers are listed). If you already have some Informix software, then you need to tell us what you've got (product names and versions, and machine). You may also need to contact the Informix sales office in Portugal (the phone number is +351 1-412-8940, I think; it is in Lisbon).
