Why's this an RFE? Bad or missing diagnostic info in an error scenario is a missing part of an existing feature, so should be a defect, with the added benefit that we'd probably have a lot more details on the problem than what this tiny RFE can provide. I agree with Andreas, a defect report seems more appropriate. But like Tom mentioned, if support suggested an RFE , there might be a reason behind it.
