In-place alter

Hello Everybody,
Env: 9.30uc3 AIX 5.1. (plan to upgrade 9.40 FC4 AIX 5.2).
(this is reference to the oncheck -pT output for current/oldest pages)
We have 2 huge tables with in-place alter, do we have to bring all the pages
to the
current pages before the upgrade, one table is small so I can run the fake
update
to make all the pages current but another table is huge, any
suggestions/recommendations...
What happens if I go for upgrade without clearing the old pages.
Thanks in advance,
Sushil...

Upgrade is not a problem for in-place-alters ..its only when you want t=

downgrade it'll stop u from doing it ...

Nothing. But you might run into problems if you need to revert. Check the
