How compiling an ESQL/C program with GNU on Solaris

We own a Sun under Solaris 2.3 on which the SunPro environment isn't install. In place, we have install the GNU gcc compiler. We want to compile a ESQL/C program. To achieve this, we have set the value of "gcc" to the CC variable in the esql shell script. With this little modification, we can compile all the ESQL/C source files. But we met the following problem at link time : the symbol __cg92__ isn't defined (it is directly accessed by the Informix libraries). If we compile with the SunPro environment, we can pass the link succefully be specifying the -xcg92 option as an argument to cc. But this option isn't available on GNU gcc. We only see a definition of __cg92__ in object files provided with SunPro. Do you know what this symbol does and if we can define it ourselves ? NOTE : The informix libraries uses the ftime() function that only available (as far as we know) in the /usr/ucblib/libucb.a library. Do you know another library than ucb we can link to get the ftime() function ? Thanks in advance.
