No more upgrades for SCO 3.2.4.2???

We have Informix RDS version 6.01.ud3 and SE version 7.10.uc1 running on SCO Open Server Network 3.0 (effectively SCO v3.2.4.2--the latest release until last May). After personally working to identify 5 bugs and encountering 2 other ones in the last 60 days, I have been informed (by a tech support engineer) that the 6.02 release will only be ported to SCO 3.2.5.0 (Open Server Release 5.0). If this is true (and my information appears to be correct), then I am being forced to upgrade to a major new release of an operating system within 2 months of its release. Having just gone through a major system change, I cannot afford the probable instability of a major new release of our OS. My alternative is to try to coax Informix into providing patches for the 7 bugs I need fixed. Why is my hand being forced like this? John Prideaux alastl@ix.netcom.com
