When we upgraded to 9.40.FC5 we had the same problem. Check with tech support on Bug: 153283 ROLLBACK PERFORMANCE IS EXTREMELY SLOW Not sure when it is fixed. So the fix for the fix in in UC6 and above. The latest is UC8.
