QBE problem help ?
Posted in 1992
A customer of ours is having a problem with QBE. The product has a code field that whilst no format is specified the customer has adopted a format of A/NN/NNNN and since this is not enforced they have ended up with a number of non comformist :-) entries. When using "?/??/????" in the QBE they get all those that match the format but using "<>?/??/????" returns all rows ! Is this a bug or have I been a twonk and missed a blatant clue The product is written in I4GL V4.00 (same SE) running on ICL DRS6000 TNX in advance mak -- * /^\\ * mak - mak@spuddy.uucp ...!uknet!axion!spuddy!mak * /\\|/\\ * Remember wherever you go there you are ! * /-<o>-\\ * Meeeeow !
